Community Guidelines
Last updated: August 2026
1. Our Mission
Chatchatty is a place for respectful conversation. These guidelines help keep the platform safe, welcoming, and useful for everyone — including private messages and group chats.
2. Content You May Not Post
- Hate speech, harassment, or bullying of any kind
- Explicit sexual content, including content involving minors
- Promotion of violence, terrorism, or self-harm
- Spam, scams, or misleading content
- Doxxing or sharing others' private information without consent
- Illegal activity or content that infringes intellectual property rights
- Impersonation of others in a misleading or harmful way
3. Enforcement
Violations may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or a permanent ban. Automated moderation may remove content in addition to manual review. We consider context and intent, and repeat offenses escalate consequences.
4. Reporting
If you see content that violates these guidelines, use the in-app report function or contact us via the contact page.
5. Appeals
If you believe enforcement action was a mistake, contact us via the contact page with subject "Appeal" and we will review your case.
6. Changes
We may update these guidelines from time to time. Significant changes will be announced on the platform.
