Overview
Chatchatty complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This policy explains how to submit a copyright complaint and what happens after we receive one.

In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(2), Chatchatty has designated the following agent to receive notifications of claimed copyright infringement:

Submitting a Takedown Notice
To report content you believe infringes your copyright, please send a written notification to our designated agent (above) containing ALL of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorised agent;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
- Identification (URL) of the material claimed to be infringing;
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone, email);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you are authorised to act.
Counter-Notice
If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to our designated agent. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the complaining party and may restore the content within 10-14 business days unless the copyright owner files a court action.
Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, Chatchatty will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
